Presenting ... Creation By Inertia (waag_rel052) by Christopher Alvarado
Creation By Inertia (waag_rel052) by Christopher Alvarado is a remarkable recording, one I am proud to release on weareallghosts.
I am extremely grateful to Christopher Alvarado for the opportunity to release this album. It is, like all music released on waag, music I want to listen to.
Creation By Inertia (waag_rel052) features my kind of sounds - soundscapes that incorporate deliciously progressive percussion with sci-fi synths and otherworldly ambience to create trance-like states of reckless abandon. This album is full of truly immersive soundscapes, the type that sound great on a hi-fi or in a quality pair of headphones. This is music to get lost in.
It is important for me to acknowledge the work of Thomas Park in the mastering of this recording, and the lovely artwork of Sheleah Nahshon which was used expertly in the front cover layout by Simon Walsh. Thank you all for making Creation By Inertia (waag_rel052) what it is.
I really do hope you will get lost in Creation By Inertia (waag_rel052) too!
An MP3 version of this album is available for free on Archive or a lossless version available on Bandcamp for 'pay what you want' which does include £0 ... and remember, paying supporters on Bandcamp also get unlimited mobile access to the album using the free Bandcamp listening app.
If you do decide to download this album for free then all we ask in return is that you tell your friends, tweet a link or post it on Facebook, write a review and spread the word.

Presenting ... drone.excursion.003 (waag_dex003) aka 'uncertainty of suspense' by Scott Lawlor
Scott Lawlor continues on his journey into post-sixty minute soundscapes with the third in his drone.excursion series.
drone.excursion.003 (waag_dex003) aka 'uncertainty of suspense' is a fluid piece ... one that has a sense of movement while retaining an impression of artifice and of the man-made, like it's predecessor.
drone.excursion.003 (waag_dex003) is another delightful longform drone from Scott and I really do hope you will enjoy it as much as I have ... I found it a worthwhile journey to take.
An MP3 version of this piece is available for free on Archive or a lossless version available on Bandcamp for 'pay what you want' which does include £0 ... and remember, paying supporters on Bandcamp also get unlimited mobile access to the album using the free Bandcamp listening app.

Presenting ... "Glimpse (waag_rel051)" by William Spivey
I have a considerable amount of affection for the music of William Spivey - his ambient-infused melodic electronica is an utter delight and I am proud to release "Glimpse (waag_rel051)" on weareallghosts.
With "Glimpse (waag_rel051)" Spivey has cooked up a luscious sound-banquet that features a number of flavours that will indulge all your senses and captivate your heart.
Whilst I love his purely ambient pieces, I do appreciate it when Spivey adds beats, utilises sequencers and brings percussive expression to his tracks - they add something extra special to his compositions and help his music to stand out from his peers.
There is something very 'Klaus Schulze' about these tracks, a distinct progressiveness and movement that I simply adore. I have held on to this album for too long and am delighted to present it to you now.

Presenting ... Silas & Friends vol.3 (waag_rel050) featuring Cousin Silas and his Friends
Silas & Friends vol.3 (waag_rel050)
The third volume of collaborations between Cousin Silas and his Friends - Silas & Friends vol.3 (waag_rel050) - is our 50th album release and 82nd release overall on weareallghosts.
It features 26 collaborations with 23 creative musicians and demonstrates the broad nature of ambient music.
Each combination is different ... each interaction releases some special magic, a synergy of effort, that brings out the best in both musicians and produces some truly exceptional music. As a non-musician, I find this utterly fascinating.
It would be unfair to single any one track out as being a highlight. I'll leave that to you, the listener, to do. What I will say is that I welcome this album to weareallghosts and hope you will enjoy it as much as I have.
I would also like to pay tribute to Brian Bourassa and Adam Howie. Adam drew this wonderful illustration over Brian's original photograph. I really like how it has turned out ... especially since I asked Adam to 'do something sci-fi, something Roger Dean' over Brian's original picture. Two wallpapers are attached with the Bandcamp release for the adornment of your PC or Mac, if you so desire.
An MP3 version of this album is available for free on Archive or a lossless version available on Bandcamp for 'pay what you want' which does include £0 ... ... and remember, paying supporters on Bandcamp also get unlimited mobile access to the album using the free Bandcamp listening app.
We are currently finalising the production of our first physical Cousin Silas release ... we have most of the cash required for 'The Sound of Silas'.
'The Sound of Silas' will be a double CD, limited to 100 copies, and will feature a range of music from Cousin Silas including an exclusive mini-dronescape and some remastered 'classic' tracks on one disc and tracks from his recent 'all guitar' project on the other. Any funds raised by Silas & Friends vol.3 will go towards this.
If you do decide to download this album for free then all we ask in return is that you tell your friends, tweet a link or post it on Facebook, write a review and spread the word.
We will post more information regarding 'The Sound of Silas' in due course but for now ... enjoy Silas & Friends vol.3.

Presenting ... "Dronescape 018 (waag_drs018)" by Cousin Silas
George Carlin once said ...
"Have you ever started a path? No one seems willing to do this. We don't mind using existing paths, but we rarely start new ones. Do it today. Start a path. Even if it doesn't lead anywhere."This saying resonates with me for a number of reasons, too many in fact for here & now. What I will say, however, is how much I respect Cousin Silas' Dronescape project and how, in creating his own path, he’s created something that a lot of people have gained pleasure from.
He's a humble wee imp that Silas chappy, he'd be happy with one or two folks getting it. He considers the number of people who download & listen, AND support this project amazing for him ... it certainly amazes me.
I am grateful to Cousin Silas for providing us with this backing to our path making, whatever that path maybe, wherever that path may go. Dronescape 018 is a beautiful piece of music ... it lifts the heart and lightens the mood. I found 018 to be very relaxing and deeply meditative. It is the soundtrack to a spiritual journey, a path each individual decides to take to a destination only they know where.
I hope you will enjoy this dronescape as much as I do.
An MP3 version of this album is available for free on Archive or a lossless version available on Bandcamp for 'pay what you want' which does include £0 ... ... and remember, paying supporters on Bandcamp also get unlimited mobile access to the album using the free Bandcamp listening app.
