It has been a while since we had a dronescape from Cousin Silas, two months in fact, and in that time I have come to really appreciate his longform work. I know I have said this before but it needs said: they give me space, they give me time out to think and to concentrate. I guess when the one thing you crave is for some down time that when you get it, you cherish it.
This dronescape, Cousin Silas’ twenty-ninth is nearly 80 minutes in length. It is a real journey in sound, one I found to be deeply immersive and relaxing. Put simply, this is a gift. I needed (and continue to need) this in my life and I am grateful to the man himself for his ongoing ingenuity.
As always a 320kbps version of this release will be available over on Archive for free with a lossless version available here on Bandcamp for ‘pay what you want’ which does include ‘free’.
